Mid Winter Pairs this year saw Director John Penman run an eight table Howell and winners on the day were Alexis Keynes and Martin Jones. Second place was tied between Janet Signer and Laurel Lander and Liz Reid and Pam Perry. Congratulations to all who enjoyed the day and thanks to the members who provided afternoon tea.
The heats of the GNOT at the Fremantle Bridge Club will be a two session event to be held on the 23rd of June, 2019 at 9 45 a.m. for a 10.00 a.m. start. The cost of entry is $100.00 per team. This sum includes payment of teams to BAWA. Players are requested to bring their own lunch. At the conclusion of the event there will be a cheese and biscuit selection and wine or soft drink.
Fremantle Bridge Club Congress is on this Sunday June 9th, starting at 10am. Players are asked to be seated by 9.45.

Parking is limited so please consider car sharing.
There will be play as usual over the Easter weekend - that is, there will be games on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.
There is an Easter Bonnet competition on Saturday as well as Hot Cross buns for afternoon tea and don't forget to enter the egg guessing comp.

FBC President Pairs (round two) will take place this Saturday March 30th.
Afternoon tea will be provided during the day and all members are invited to remain after the game to join the winners in a glass of wine.
Fremantle Bridge Club President Pairs (round one) is this Saturday March 23rd. The competition will take place over two Saturdays and the scores will be aggregated. $8 on first round, $6 on the second date - with an afternoon tea on the 30th. Prize giving, pictures and drinks follow the match on Saturday 30th.
Please be aware the Freemasons have a huge function on Saturday March 23rd starting at 3pm so parking could be an issue: Share a ride, catch a bus, get the kids to do taxi duty....
There is a major Freemason function at the Hall today - Saturday February 23rd. To that end, parking will be a problem. Please share rides, or leave home a few minutes earlier than normal to find parking on side streets etc.
SAVE THE DATE: The next Red Point event to be held at Fremantle Bridge Club will be on MONDAY FEBRUARY 25th, 2019.
The Fremantle Bridge Club wishes to announce there will be NO Bridge on Tuesday the 1st of January 2019.
However, at this time, the committee wishes all its members and friends a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
Fremantle Bridge Club will be closed on Tuesday December 25th, Wednesday December 26th and Tuesday January 1st. All others days are Bridge as usual.
